How did you decide on these questions?
The questions were co-produced with both professionals and people with lived experience to help us to understand what people with lived experience of LD and their families need.
1. What is the Population Needs Assessment (PNA)?
The PNA is a statutory report that helps the NHS, councils and partner organisations understand the needs of people in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
It looks at what support people need now and what they may need in the future.
Why do you have a chapter on Learning Disabilities?
People with a learning disability can experience different challenges in health, daily life, independence, housing, education, employment and community participation.
We want to make sure their voices, priorities and experiences shape future services.
